Scott Copen, P.E.

Co-Owner and Civil Engineer

Scott, owns and manages a successful Civil Engineering Firm in Morgantown, WV. He is a highly skilled civil engineer with many years of experience in residential and commercial development. His expertise centers on designing and executing on the most challenging commercial and residential development projects. Scott's proficiency in land development, zoning regulations, and project management has made him a sought-after consultant in the real estate development industry. He has played a pivotal role in several high-profile housing and commercial ventures, known for their innovative design and efficient use of space. Scott’s approach always emphasizes practicality, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to eco-friendly practices. Kyle Newsome, FAA 107 RPIC

Co-Owner & Chief UAV Pilot

Kyle has an extensive background in Commercial and Residential, Excavation & Land Development. Utilizing UAV's (Drones) both professionally and as hobby for many years, he has built up many flight hours behind the controls. Kyle is a FAA Part 107 Certified Commercial UAV Pilot and oversees each flight operation at SKYMAPTEK. Kyle is also an FAA Instrument Rated Airplane Pilot and enjoys flying when able as well as staying up-to-date on all aspects of aviation, especially those with regard to airspace, UAV Laws and Safe Operations.
